About

Project Hermes is a senior design (ECE 492/493) project at George Mason University. It is being developed from Fall 2014 to Spring 2015. The objectives are to design, construct, and test a leg brace. Hermes is motorized to drive knee and ankle movement, and its primary uses are to assist with blood circulation and muscle exercise.

This project is funded by a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant through Dr. Nathalia Peixoto and Dr. Vasiliki Ikonomidou, our advisors.
